I originally designed the Lana pullover as an adult sweater. But when looking at the finished garment, I could not help but imagine how cute the frilly sleeve ends and neckline would look on a child. Lanita can be knit in both soft pastels or more bold colours for a very different but equally beautiful result.

Yarn

Pink version 

Yarn A: 2 (2, 2, 2) (3, 3, 4) skeins of Silk Mohair by Isager (75% mohair, 25% silk, 230 yds 210 m – 25 g), colourway 62 

Yarn B: 1 (1, 2, 2) (2, 3, 3) skein(s) of Spinni by Isager (100% wool, 330 yds 301 m – 50 g), colourway 61 

 

Both yarns are held together throughout the pattern with the exception of the edging

 

Needles (NOT IN KIT): US 3 3.25 mm 16 40 cm circular needles. US 6 4 mm 16 40 cm, 24 60 cm circular needles and a set of DPNs for sleeves. Crochet hook, US D-3 3.25 mm for baby sizes only
